Casta ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Casta mobile application and website. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information about you when you use our services.
Personal information
- Account Information: Name (English/Arabic), phone number, email address, date of birth, nationality, city
- Profile Information: Photos, portfolio images, height, weight, physical characteristics
- Company Information: Company name, CR number, business documents
Device information
- Device type and operating system
- App version
- Push notification tokens
We collect location data only when you request timesheet check-in to verify you are at the project location. Location data is not collected in the background.
- To provide and maintain the Service
- To facilitate connections between talents and companies
- To verify user identity and location for timesheets
- To send notifications about casting opportunities
- To send transactional emails (booking confirmations, status updates)
- To improve and optimize our Service
We share your information only:
- With companies when you apply or are invited to castings
- With talents when companies create projects
- With service providers who assist our operations (Supabase for data, Resend for email delivery, Expo for push notifications)

We implement appropriate security measures including Row Level Security (RLS) on all database tables, encrypted connections, and secure authentication via OTP to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.
